"Singing Sylvie" Original Ceramic Sculpture

One day as I was poking through online photos for inspiration, I happened upon a cat with its mouth SO wide open. I have no idea what it was doing, but seeing that kitty inspired me to create a happy little cat crooning its favorite song. To reflect its happy mood, I used a glossy yellow glaze. I like how little speckles pop up in the yellow glaze -- when the paper in my paper clay burns off it creates these cute dots.
