"The Frog King and his Snail Driver" Original Ceramic Sculpture

The Frog King is so proud and impressed with himself! I always imagine the snail muttering in disbelief under its breath, "Seriously?! You've got to be kidding me!" I imagined this silly little scene after seeing an actual photograph of a frog "riding" a snail -- although I expect someone just plopped the frog on the snail, it's great that it stayed long enough to snap a picture!

The frog is glazed in a glossy green for its body and wears a glossy yellow crown. While the snail has a glossy white shell and glossy yellow bow tie and collar. I left the snail's body unglazed to contrast the other colors.
